Nyamasheke to work on residents problems during Good Governance Month

Nyamasheke district officially launched the Good Governance Month, on Monday the 20th, 01, 2014. The program will see local leaders from cell to district level address lingering residents’ problems.

Residents will also be taught of the protocol and where to report their problems as well how to benefit from good governance.

People openly discussed their issues and they were answered or directed for a later date

Mayor Jean Baptiste Habyarimana said that this month will aim at solving people’s problems with the help of local people,

“Such programs promote service delivery with zero tolerance to corruption since locals learn that solving their problems doesn’t cost a fee,” said the mayor at the program launch in Mahembe Sector of Nyamasheke.

The same month will host the Kagame Cup football Competition in the district.
