Nyabihu youth become ‘Nd’ Umunyarwanda’ ambassadors
Nyabihu youth undergoing the Urugerero program pledged to support and promote Ndi Umunyarwanda, a national campaign aimed at emphasizing unity, reconciliation and development among Rwandans after the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi.
The youth promised to sensitise parents, fellow youths and entire community to participate in the program. Nd’ Umunyarwanda has seen Rwandans publically apologise for their role in the 1994 genocide as the country aims to uphold the Rwandan nationality and shun divisionism.

The 1994 genocide against the Tutsi happened 20 years ago and left Rwanda in total devastation.
Different programs have been put in place to teach the young generation about patriotism and development, looking beyond ethnic differences. The programs include; Ndumunyarwanda, Urugerero and more.
