Rwanda to host conference on democracy
The Rwanda Governance board (RGB) will host over 350 international delegates in Kigali to discuss democratic governance in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
The conference is due to take place from June 30th to July 03rd and is expected to put Rwanda in the limelight of exemplary good governance, and sharing best practices of democracy in the three continents.
The Kigali meet will be the second of its kind. The first took place in Cheney University in Pennsylvania last year. The meeting is expected to host academicians in hot debates on the right path of governance and democracy.
Dr. Felicien Usengumukiza, the head of research at RGB says that the meeting will be of importance to Rwanda and the country strives to lead others in good governance and democracy as a path of development twenty years after the genocide.
The conference will ultimately give a critical review of development and democratic governance issues, constraints and opportunities.
