Based in Kigali, the newspaper has swiftly grown to be one of East Africa’s leading portal that emphasizes on Justice, Courts, Judiciary, Legislation, Constitution, Acts, Bills, Laws, Genocide Trials and more. With a competent multi-lingual team, the news portal features articles in English and Kinyarwanda and caters primarily to readers across the Great Lakes region.
Emanuela Agatesi is the founding partner of Uburenganzira. A former attorney, she had practiced law in Rwanda before starting Uburenganzira in 2011. An astute mind on all issues of the law, her presence is indispensable to the news portal. Although she seldom pens articles of her own, she is the Co-Chief Editor of the portal.
Chantal Agatesi completed her studies in journalism from the National University of Rwanda before pursuing law. She is currently a student and works part time for Uburenganzira.
Mathew Baptiste is the Chief Editor of Uburenganzira. Although the last two generations of his family lived in Bujumbura in Burundi, Mathew has chosen to written to his roots in Rwanda. Mathew is a lawyer by profession and has worked on several high profile cases including ICTR litigation.
