Rwanda : Gisagara district ready to fight corruption, injustice
After receiving awards as the district in the good position for fighting against corruption and injustices, Gisagara district says that the fight is always on until the problem is completely eradicated.
Leandre Karekezi Gisagara district mayor called upon all district residents to continue fighting any form of corruption and injustices because they are yet to reach the desired results. He said that if they want to maintain their position among other district, they should relax instead they should look for new strategies to eradicate these disrespectful deeds for good.
District residents agree with their mayor and say that corruption and injustices still exist in their district though not on the same rate as in the past.
“There are some leaders who delay giving people services so that they would be given something to be given the services, this is corruption and the punishments for it are still in place” he said. He asked people to continue with the fight and the concerned levels not to relax until the end.
